How can my teen get a library card?

Library cards are issued to Campbell County residents with proof of current, local address and photo ID. If these are both on a Driver's License, this is acceptable.

The first library card is free of charge to county residents. A parent/guardian signature is required for children under 18 to obtain a card with normal borrowing privileges.

Teens ages 14-17 may obtain a special limited card without a parent'/guardian signature. If a photo ID is not available, and valid contact and identification information can be verified, the teen may still obtain a limited card.

  • Get a Library Card for an Adult (age 18 and over) or Youth (17 and under)
  • Cards issued electronically are good for 60 days with full library privileges.
