CCPL invites you to learn to crochet Saturdays at 10am, January 14, 28, and February 4! Tomi Adams, Tomi’s Crochet Crafts, is volunteering her time to teach basic stitches. Your library will supply the yarn -- simply bring an H hook. All ages welcome!

Children and their caregivers are invited to CCPL to Play to Learn January 10-28. This early literacy program is designed to encourage learning through play for children birth to 6 years. Imaginative, constructive, and exploratory play activities are available from 9:30-11:30am Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Come explore the interactive resources in your library.

The Campbell County Public Library Young Adult Department offers open-play gaming for teens in grades 7-12 Saturday afternoons from 1:30-4pm, as well as school early-release afternoons. Gamers sign up for turns, and cooperatively choose games from the library’s collection.

“Family Game Day at the Rockpile Museum” Saturday, January 14, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. It’s Game Day at the Rockpile Museum and everyone is invited to drop into the Rockpile Museum between 10:00 a.m. and noon on Saturday, January 14, 2023. The staff has brought out copies of some of the old standards like checkers, dominoes, and Tiddledy Winks; mixed in a few new games like "Pass the Pigs," and Maggie the cow’s favorite "Long Cow"; and finally added a dash of local fun with copies of "Gillette-Opoly", the 1984 favorite "The Gillette Generic Game", and "Wyoming Quest: A Game of Wyoming History & Geography" created in 1989 by four Gillette educators (including our own volunteer Norman Grams). The event will be FREE so that everyone can enjoy the fun and games at the Museum. We Can’t Wait to See You!
